This project was launched to provide immediate aid to the victims of devastating floods and heavy rains in Kerala. Operating under the spiritual guidance that “Allah will aid his slave so long as he aids his brother,” the Trust transformed its Kapada Bank into a collection and distribution hub for essential survival items.
Kerala (2019): This was a catastrophic event marked by 80 landslides in just two days. Entire villages, such as Kavalappara and Puthumala, were almost completely washed away, resulting in over 120 fatalities and the displacement of more than 200,000 people to relief camps.
Target Beneficiaries: Families and individuals displaced or affected by the 2019 Kerala floods.
Items Collected & Donated: * Apparel & Bedding: Clothes, undergarments, towels, burkhas, blankets, and pillows.
