The Blood Donation Project

The Blood Donation Project is a life-saving humanitarian initiative organized by the Dar ul Huda Charitable Trust in Udupi, Karnataka. Driven by the spiritual principle that “saving one life is as though they have saved the lives of all mankind,” the Trust organizes community blood donation camps to support local healthcare needs. These events are held at central locations, such as the Mother Palace Auditorium in Brahmavar, to ensure maximum participation and accessibility for donors.

The project demonstrates a high level of community engagement and operational efficiency:

  • Impactful Reach: A single camp held in 2018 successfully saw 140 donors contributing to the cause.

  • Dedicated Support: The initiative is powered by a team of 10 volunteers and 20 specialized staff members to manage the donation process safely.

  • Public Outreach: The Trust maintains active communication through its website and dedicated contact lines (+91 733 781 4400) to coordinate with potential donors and volunteers.

  • Consistent Mission: This project is a key pillar in the Trust’s “Series of Relief and Humanitarian Projects,” emphasizing the importance of selfless service to humanity.
